Our Services
Crisis Center of Comal County offers safe, compassionate, wrap-around services for women, men, and children who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault.
Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You don't need to make an appointment for immediate crisis intervention and advocacy services. Call our 24-hour crisis hotline at 1.800.434.8013 for more information.

Case managers provide services focused on identifying and reaching goals.
Assistance with safety planning.

Individual counseling and support groups are offered for residents.
Counselors work with clients of all ages to overcome the effects of victimization.
Children's play therapy
Support groups focus on the cycle of violence and gaining life skills.
Support groups for children are curriculum-based and focused on developing healthy coping skills and fostering relationships.

24/7 crisis hotline staffed by trained crisis responders and advocates.
Advocates respond to clients in crisis to provide support and referrals.
Advocates accompany clients to medical, legal, or criminal service providers.

We offer education and presentations to local civic, educational, and church groups about preventing and identifying domestic violence and sexual assault, and how to help.
Participate in local resource fairs partnering for education and prevention.
Offering teen dating violence education.

Our advocates assist in preparing protective orders, affidavits, and police reports.
Courtroom support and accompaniment.
Escort clients to law enforcement and criminal justice offices.
Aid in completing crime victim compensation claims/assist with VINE.

Our Next Step housing program, in collaboration with New Braunfels Housing Partners and Hill Country MHDD, ensures victims have access to sustainable and safe housing to keep them out of crisis.

24-hour emergency shelter for all victims.
Residents receive all services offered.
Residents work toward self-sufficiency in a safe environment.
