The Comal Thrift Shoppe opened on September 16, 2021, thanks to the generous contributions from our community. When our clients arrive at the Crisis Center, they have the opportunity to select essential items from our collection of donated goods. Our dedicated staff and volunteers then carefully curate items for sale at the Thrift Shoppe.
The Comal Thrift Shoppe is critical in supporting the Crisis Center of Comal County's various programs and services, including a 24/7/365 crisis hotline and response team, emergency shelter, permanent housing transition program, counseling, medical care and referrals, SAFE accompaniments, legal advocacy and court accompaniments, protective order assistance, and peer support groups.
