PLM 2019 will benefit The Crisis Center of Comal County and generate awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. PLM, is a festival that will empower youth and teens in Comal County. In acknowledging that domestic violence and sexual assault are a reality in our community and by generating publicity, support and awareness we aim to assure survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault that these are not dirty secrets that needs to be hidden away, but rather circumstances that deserve support and resources generated by the community. We want all survivors to know that the community of New Braunfels and all of Comal County is here, aware, and invested in seeing the end of violence.
This event will provide a safe, supportive environment that will bring youth, teen, and community members together to strengthen their bonds of friendship, recognize the power of vulnerability and conversation and enhance the raw, authentic bonds of sisterhood that link us, strengthen us, and sustain us.
